Dad's Gates Icon, social media campaign

I was asked to develop an icon that could be used to tie together the numerous alumni chapters' web pages. Besides adding a cohesive feel to the design it was important that the logo could connect back to the home campus and would be instantly recognizable to alumni. I chose a historically significant campus feature (called Dad's Gates) and created a vector of the complex gate. The design of the logo had to be flexible enough to fit within the frames of a Facebook cover photo, and also redesigned layout for the Group chapter pages.
